Receive DSTV remote signals to your Arduino.

The attachment contains.
Arduino Sketch - Receives the DSTV remote data and then outputs it to serial.
Remote For Kodi App & Source Code - Receives the serial data from the arduino then emulates key strokes to the computer.

You will most probably not make use of a DSTV remote so feel free to change the code to make use of your own remote.

Do you know whats causing the program to stop, if i minimize it after certain minutes it stops working.

Does the program freeze at all or does it simply stop receiving IR Signals ?.
I will have a look to night, last time I checked it was working fine. (It was freezing when ever it receives codes but whilst it was minimized it didnt matter)

Hi thanks for the reply, I start it connect it minimize, start kodi, is working fine select a movie play it, after like 5 minuts pop up a window saying the program stops working. after that i have to re start it again. while is working works great. i may be looking into the code this week to se if i find something causing it..
im running windows 8 Thanks.
